Welcome to Little Mozarts 4 FUN family! You are giving your child a gift that can last a lifetime. This information is given to help you in supporting your child’s successful music study.

Covid Procedures :

If you have been exposed to Covid, but test negative please wear a mask. If you test positive, please stay home.

Lessons :

Piano Presto is a weekly 60 minute lesson consisting of group and individual activities. Students (ages 7) or older will be taught at the level most appropriate for their ability.

Major Buddies is a 40 minute weekly lesson divided into 20 minutes at the piano and 20 minutes of group activities with students the same age (5 or 6 year olds).

• MAJOR BUDDIES ACHIEVERS - Will complete weekly tasks including singing, playing and reading/writing activities in class and at home with parents help to advance their progress.
• MAJOR BUDDIES EXPLORERS - Will learn by doing. Their progress will be a little slower and we encourage you to engage in conversation with them each week by reading the emailed assignment and have them explore their piano as much as possible. We are confident you’ll be able to complete the Achievers assignments easily.

STUDENT/PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES At The Lesson

• Students should come to class ready to learn. Repeated disruptions to class will result in parent’s needing to attend.
• FINISH snacks & WASH hands if needed before lesson.
• All materials should come to every class and fingernails should be kept short.
• Parents are not required to attend class, though they are welcome to observe. Please arrange your visit in advance.

PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES At Home

• Review the weekly assignment with your student. We email assignments out on Mondays so you may get it before your lesson.
• At first your student needs lots of parental assistance with home assignments. As they progress they will become more independent.
• A functioning piano/keyboard must be provided to make progress.

TUITION/MATERIAL FEES:

Piano Presto: Fees are structured on a 9 weekly basis / Major Buddies: Fees are structured on a 6 weekly basis. We follow the SVUSD calendar for holidays & Closures. Please see our studio calendar for details or subscribe to our google calendar.

• A one time $100 materials fee is required to reserve your space any of our programs prior to class start date.
• Tuition is due BEFORE each session begins. See our calendar for details.
• You will receive an invoice via email prior to each session. Zelle is FREE! to us and our preferred payment option. You may pay by Venmo/credit card but please note there is a $10 fee for using these platforms.

DISCONTINUING LESSONS :

If you are discontinuing please fill out our Discontinuing Form. Piano Presto classes - require 1 MONTHS notice to drop. Materials fees are non-refundable. Major Buddies classes - require 3 weeks notice to drop the next session. $50 of your $100 enrollment fee will be refunded if you give us sufficient notice.

CANCELLATIONS/ MAKE UP LESSONS/TERMINATION/REFUNDS:

• Students are required to come to lessons every week so long as they are not sick.
• Make up classes are subject to availability in an alternate class. Monday holiday classes can be made up later in the week.
• All Teacher cancellations will be re- scheduled.
• No refunds given.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT DURING CLASS: Parents are not required to attend class though they are welcome to observe. Please arrange your visit in advance.

MEDIA RELEASE: Photographs and videos of student performances (first name only) may be used for promotional, parent observation and/or educational purposes. Parents wishing to EXCLUDE their students from any published media must do so in writing or by emailing us.
